Magickal Realism (2009-2010)

Limited edition bust of John Dee:

Handmade plaster bust with black lacquer, somewhat inspired by the Ashmolean portrait of Dee, but with a considerable influence from my own appearance in the show. 16cm tall, 10cm wide, 6cm deep. Black felt base, numbered and signed limited edition. This statue can be seen on my desk during the show, amongst my other paraphernalia. It’s now available to buy online from ArtSway’s shop at Own Art, and was also on sale during April and May at Wysing Arts Contemporary: Presents near Cambridge.
