Market Project is an independent arts collective from the east of England. We are researching new methods and opportunites for professional and economic development both within and beyond the established art economy in the UK and globally. The three core elements of Market Project are:

• Initiation of new, productive dialogues and relationships with professionals from the arts and other disciplines, including experts rarely consulted or considered by artists.

• Commissioning of critical texts about the project and about individual artist participants.

• Individual research and development which is specific to each person and their work, but with sharing of outcomes and knowledge where appropriate, and collectively focused on pragmatic, sustainable improvement of every artist's ability to make a living from their practice.
