It also generally paints a vivid picture of what football in England, and indeed life in England in general, was like in the 1960s and 1970s. We were lucky enough to have access to Ian’s own scrapbooks and to interview him many times, so we hope we have managed to put together a comprehensive and authoritative biography. The most sought-after striker in the land, his sensational on-off transfer from Nottingham Forest to Derby County left Brian Clough unable to speak to him for two decades.

BURTON Albion has completed the signing of MK Dons forward Jonathan Leko on-loan until the end of the season. Oh, and a lovely foreword from Martin O’Neill (carefully written by hand, like his own autobiography, and dictated to us! We assist them in setting their prints free for future generations to access and appreciate them and their historical value. An England international, injury robbed him of numerous caps and a place at the Mexico 1970 World Cup.

He scored over 100 league goals for Nottingham Forest, and earned one cap for England during his time there. The book runs to over 300 pages and has numerous quotes from Ian and an extensive selection of photos, some not published before. Give It To Moore' captures brilliantly Moore's story of rising through the youth ranks at Forest to become the club's star player. To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. I kept on supporting them until they dropped the 'Football Club' from the badge and Edwards would not listen to the supporters not to do it.

It iincludes a truly great and original picture section [and] a detailed statistics layout chronicling all that constitutes the ‘He Will Score’ aspect. With our high quality and fast digitizing process, we help newspaper archives in converting their physical prints into digital format. In terms of watching Forest I’m probably a couple of years behind the likes of Cloughie75, so will look forward to contributing to some of the more nostalgic threads in particular. He went on to play for non-league Burton Albion, as well as North American Soccer League side Chicago Sting.

In one game in a rare moment of frustration he kicked the ball at a fouling opponent that hit his left leg - the left leg hit the right leg and the player fell in a heap. While long queues formed ahead of Nottingham Forest’s match against Aston Villa on 5 November for the book signing at which Ian was joined by back-to-back European Cup winners Garry Birtles and John Robertson. He's pictured above signing copies of his book at Burton Albion before their home match against Leyton Orient on 28 October. At Ian’s request (and my own, actually) we have paid particular attention to the great 1966/67 team, which I don’t feel gets quite the recognition it deserves.
