About this deal

On the other hand, the G305 is a great choice for a fingertip grip, and it has more programmable inputs.

It takes the rock solid performance of the G Pro/ G203 and recreates it perfectly in a wireless package with astounding battery life. Things are kept straight-forward and easy to follow, with less focus on gimmicks, and more on usability.Again, weight is a matter of personal preference, and though I personally prefer a lighter weight, some will like heavier mice. Most users will keep the majority of these mapped as they are, with the thumb buttons (mouse four and five) free to be programmed for convenience depending on the game.

The Logitech G305 LIGHTSPEED is a better wireless gaming mouse than the Logitech MX Anywhere 2S, but the Anywhere 2S is designed for office work and travel. It's been two years since the debut of the Logitech G900 Chaos Spectrum , the wireless gaming mouse that made lower latency a spec that mice of its type should aspire to.

The Logitech G305 LIGHTSPEED and the Logitech G303 Shroud Edition are comparable wireless gaming mice. The only people who might not like it are those with the largest hands, those that need a ton of extra side buttons, or those that insist on having a rechargeable battery built-in, or wired/bluetooth support. It’s long lasting with 250 gaming hours from one AA battery, with an indicator light reminding you before the battery runs out.

Kitted out with 6 programmable buttons (all customisable with macros), everything feels super responsive thanks to mechanical switches. The Logitech G305 has a decent amount of buttons, including two side buttons and a dedicated CPI button behind the scroll wheel. With the Hero sensor, the Logitech G305 Lightspeed felt responsive, whether I was using it on my best RGB mouse pad or no mouse pad at all -- something you won't find in cheaper gaming mice. It's no secret that PC gaming is expensive, especially once you start getting into peripherals and accessories.

It uses Logitech’s HERO 12K sensor for maximum battery life, and sports a 1000hz polling rate for the same 1ms response time as most wired mice. Best mouse so far that i've owned, and ive owned some of the most expensive mouse's so that says alot.

Logitech includes an alkaline AA battery to get you started…which I immediately threw in my kitchen stash in favor of a lithium instead. However, the G305 is smaller and more portable, and its ambidextrous shape makes it more suitable for left-handed use even though its side buttons are on the left side.
