About this deal

He oversaw the Republic of Ireland reaching the Euros in 2016, when they made it to the second round for the first time in their history.

On Days Like These is an insightful and captivating autobiography, and a must-read for all fans of the beautiful game. A resolve to be a giant among men, to conquer, plunder and seize the greatness that he thinks is his right. The last couple of chapters feel rushed, and this is a book that starts well but fades as it goes on. After joining Aston Villa he achieved three consecutive sixth-place finishes in the English Premier League and guided them to the 2010 Football League Cup Final. Learn nine essential ways to detox your mindset, feel lighter and more energised, to live a happier and more fulfilling life. The only disappointment was that as his career progresses, particularly into management in the premiership, he doesn’t go into more depth when describing many of the characters in the dressing room, the make-up of the club and the characters involved. Yes he has achieved alot in both playing and management and yes I learnt alot of facts I was unaware of but it was written in such a limp and unexciting way.

I enjoyed this book a good deal, because Martin describes his football journeyvery eloquently throughout, sometimes in a self deprecating way, but always with clarity and honesty. Best-selling author Mark Manson brings his signature no-nonsense wisdom back to the subject he started his career covering: relationships. The Greatest Secret, the long-awaited major work by Rhonda Byrne, lays out the next quantum leap in a journey that will take the listener beyond the material world and into the spiritual realm, where all possibilities exist. With a career spanning over fifty years, Martin tells of his exhilarating highs and painful lows; from the joys of winning trophies, promotion and fighting for World Cups to being harangued by fans, boardroom drama, relegation scraps and being fired. Biography: Martin O'Neill began his career in Northern Ireland, winning the Irish Cup with Lisburn Distillery.Martin O’Neill is one of the most respected men in soccer, I grew up watching his Celtic side play and reach the UEFA cup final in 2003. To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Access to the Plus Catalogue—thousands of Audible Originals, audiobooks and podcasts, including exclusive series. Martin tells of his exhilarating highs and painful lows; from the joys of winning trophies and promotion to making the difficult decision to retire as a player, boardroom drama, relegation scraps and being fired. O'Neill represented Northern Ireland over sixty times, playing alongside George Best and captaining the side at the 1982 World Cup, where they reached the quarter-finals.

In The Psychology of Money, award-winning author Morgan Housel shares 19 short stories exploring the strange ways people think about money.Although the list is not exhaustive these are examples of the extent to which we will offer this service. A key part of Brian Clough’s legendary Nottingham Forest team in the ‘70s and early ‘80s, Martin also represented Northern Ireland more than 60 times and led them at the 1982 World Cup. No previous biographer has experienced even a tiny taste of the polar hell on earth endured by Shackleton and his men. So often you see public figures climb to the top of the mountain stepping on people as they go but O’Neils generous and warm personality makes for a winning account of triumph over adversity when facing very difficult odds.
