As most games don't recognise the specific buttons, you have to associate them with keys on the keyboard in the G HUB software. The guarantee applies if your product is deemed defective, including any faults arising from manufacturing but excluding any damage that have arisen from improper use of the item. I bought this model as a replacement for a logitech G400 because I wanted a similar model, full palm and quite heavy. It's a nice change from my old G400 except that 2 of the most useful buttons are one of the 3 unrecognised buttons, are used by default to increase and decrease resolution.
