A girl who likes telling jokes goes to a school for extremely bad kids, the school is on an active volcano and I’m not sure how the book got published, as there is so much child abuse and so much illegal stuff. The way the illustrations perfectly capture the story and add an awesome visual layer to this book makes for an unforgettable reading experience.

In 2008 David’s first children’s book The Boy in the Dress was published, illustrated by Quentin Blake. There wasn't anything original here, now for the kids who are new to this kinda adventures, I suspect they'll have a blast, sadly I found this the weakest of his books, would I chance another tale from this funny, charming comedian?I don't know about you but the way he plays with the greys on his palette makes them so incredibly detailed.

I think this about the 18th book by Mr Walliams that I've read and it is as good as any of the others. This story is about a girl that meets like a monster and then they have a lot of adventures together but the problem is that it is lie illegal for her to have the monster because it is dangerous so the story is about the girl and the adventures of the monster but also how she tries the monster to be friends with people so that she can demonstrate that the monster is not dangerous. They are annoying, rude, and mean but there is a worthy lesson to be imbibed from the exciting adventure this book takes you on. The plot was somewhat entertaining, but there was just nothing underneath it, and I think that’s what I found the most disappointing. There are far too many characters in this book, all given stupid names and very little characterisation. I read this book because I have read a lot of books from the same author in the past so that is why I chose this book. It is accepted by you that Daunt Books has no control over additional charges in relation to customs clearance. She kept asking sensible questions like why a girl climbing up a drainpipe was suddenly on the ground, how a child who hadn’t eaten in days could stay up night after night without getting tired, or why she was suddenly best friends with a boy she met briefly at one breakfast?
