My one criticism was it was sometimes very deep around the self help elements, I would've preferred it to be just a normal autobiography. I am now in a place where I’ve learned to have good vibes, to be true to myself, but it hasn’t always been this way.

This book is all about how he changed his way of thinking, sharing his journey of reinvention, self-love and acceptance and how he overcame his demons to make his way back to the 'good vibes'.In 2017, Craig announced the release of the seventh studio album, 'The Time Is Now', which was released in January 2018 and featured hits like 'Heartline' and 'I Know You' featuring Bastille.

He successfully sought permission from David Bowie to sample his 1983 Number 1 single 'Let's Dance'. Craig started making his way back to the mainstream in 2011 when his DJ name TS5 started uploaded the sets to Soundcloud, and on the back of this success Craig embarked on a huge world tour that took him all over the globe. I’m still learning, still a journeyman, with much to still absorb; still making mistakes, still striving. Because now I’ve got a following of people who are like ‘we know your character, we know who you are and we know how you carry yourself’ so now it’s about how you can help people, how can you be of service?spans the whole of Craig's career from working with Artful Dodger on 'Re-Rewind', right up to the present day. Bad Boy Records CEO Sean Combs, after hearing his demo tape, reached out to Craig with interest in signing him as an artist. Craig David has been in the music industry for an impressive 22 years, and brought out his first book What's Your Vibe? While the “Fill Me In” singer admitted that he’s “been so guarded for so long”, he said he’s ready to open up, with the hope of connecting with fans on a deeper level.

He started writing his own music, including instant mega-hit '7 days' and featured on Re-Rewind by Artful Dodger which made him a household name. to lean into mental health and depression and lack of boundaries, saying yes when you really meant no and being a people pleaser, impostor syndrome; so many things that were just a human-to-human connection that I felt if I spoke about that, that is something that can hopefully help people and that’s a book that’s worthwhile to make. Great read if you want to know more about Craig's background, especially if you are a big fan like I am. In 2005, Craig announced that he had signed with Warner Music and put together his third album, 'The Story Goes.I thoroughly enjoyed this book, and admire the way he talks about his mental health and the struggles he has faced, including being bullied at school. It’s a series of lessons that I’ve learnt over the years that have helped shape who I am today,” he continued. But I feel privileged now – after a lot of interesting twists and turns along the way – to share my journey with you. Craig then signed another new record with Universal Motown and released sixth album 'Signed, Sealed, Delivered'.

But I feel privileged now - after a lot of interesting twists and turns along the way - to share my journey with you. In Craig’s much-anticipated first book – part-memoir, part self-help – he shares his journey of reinvention, self-love and acceptance, and the lessons he’s learned along the way.

He has received 14 Brit Award nominations, two Grammy nominations, four MOBO awards, three Ivor Novellos honouring his songwriting and, most recently, an MBE for his services to music.
