I loved how James used real locations in his story and how he used real life crimes to build the advice Jefferson was putting forward. after reading them by this same author i was highly looking foward to this book because i devoured them and it's most likely going to be on my favorites of the year. She never expected to have to fight for her daughter's life she had always known that human beings were terrifying monsters.

Oh, and you've been warned, so if you don't like it, if it's too much for you, don't go crying and taking it out on the author! I didn’t love Broken Dolls as much as Them, but I’d still recommend it to those looking for a quick and dirty trip through the bowels of hell. for me extreme horror needs those things or else it feels like torture porn for the sake of torture porn which is not why i read extreme horror. He starts by yelling insults and accusations at the guy, and then has the guy pinned on the floor of his office, threatening that the officer accompanying him will break his arm if he doesn't tell him what he wants to know. I had to keep reading just another page, another page, as everything raced towards a high tension ending.
