About this deal

Family and fun were just as important in the past, and I really enjoyed the glimpses of regular people having a nice day out at the Frost Fair! Rosie blossoms when she starts to let her walls down, and the supporting characters who eventually become her friends round out the story. She understands why her father, who has been the only human being that she has met told her to stay inside the apartment.

And with a slew of other crimes hitting the area, from counterfeit goods to a violent drugs gangs swamping Denton with cheap heroin, the stakes have never been higher. And when his drug use started to spiral out of control, Frost faced a battle that threatened to take everything he had. I couldn’t believe my eyes when I realised that Anne Boleyn got executed just because she knew a lot.All in all, it was an interesting read and I would recommend it to anyone that wants to see what happens when robots and zombies decide to take over the world. And Barrow, his father, who reminded me of a combination between Rick and Glenn, both characters on The Walking Dead.

The king of fae needs to choose a new bride to stop a kind of curse and due to personal issues he wants someone that he can't love, so he can keep her at arms length. For one thing, King Torin professes to loathe Ava which is the whole reason he picks her for the trials but, honestly, it never shows. Plenty of action keeps the story going and keeps plenty of questions remaining open that would feed in nicely to a sequel. I think it was just a tad too out there for me, with human consciences in some robots and other robots trying to assimilate humans while still others wanted to BE like humans.

I've been on a huge fantasy kick lately, and when I came across this book I had to request it right away.

They were just surviving from what was out there, trying to make sure that they weren’t either killed or tortured by the ones that served the “Good John Lord”.He actually takes good care of her, escorts her around personally and brings her coffee and breakfast. This book kept me on tenterhooks and is an action-packed page-turner that is perfect for fans of mystery, adventure and history. This was such a surprisingly dark read, especially since the cover is so beautiful and the book premise seemed so light, which was quite apparent from the first few pages. A pirate DJ on Passion FM, when acid house broke down virtually every cultural boundary in the UK, Frost was right there at the forefront of the British rave revolution.
