Queen Abigail was horrible to her servants, only thought about herself, and went to extremes to gain the attention of her husband. Book one sets things up quite nicely and gives you a glimpse of the characters, but book 2 sets us rolling into intrigue with assignation attempts! The main conflict after 20 chapters is the FL and ML being too embarrassed to say they like each other even though they are in their 30's and already married and it is entirely obvious even to an 11 year old girl and a 2 year old magical mirror. The art was beautiful, the story was interesting and the characters were introduced in a way that makes me excited to see what happens next.Seeing Abigail "fight" for Blanche's happiness as well as celebrate all the things Blanche does is so very heartwarming!
