The powder comes in two shades, Peaux Claires/Medians no 51 and Peaux mates/hâlées no 52, which is the one I have here. While in the pan they look kind of similar, swatchedyou can see it's warmer toned than Hoola, which will be a bonus for some people who find Hoola too muddy looking. I've tried this bronzer... I've actually bought a few months ago. Oh, and I'm from Slovenia, Central Europe. :) I am actually looking for a contour shade like Hoola, a shade thats not so warm toned. At the moment i am just using a dark pressed powder foundation. I might have to get Hoola if I dont find the right one.

You may take this bronzer's colour as high as faking a tan, but it still would not give you a horrid orange or muddy look. One of the best bronzers out there is the Bourjois Paris Delice de Poudre, more commonly known as the chocolate bronzing powder. Have you ever heard or readabout a product being possiblydiscontinued and then gone into a complete frenzy trying to find it?Formulated with a comedogenic formula that allows skin to breathe on application, this Primer Bronzer by Bourjois gives your complexion an even looking tan, with pressed powder that smoothes and mattifies the skin. Boasting a lavish chocolate fragrance, this bronzer contains Cocoa Beans and Orange Blossom Elixir that work to give the skin radiance whilst keeping it hydrated. The powder I own in the image is probably older than your mum, which is probably a sign that I should throw it away and get a new one. Becca - thanks for the tip, I'll keep my eye out for the Rimmel one. I'm fan of apricot tinged things. It sculpts the face pretty nicely, but not as amazingly as contour palettes I have previously owned. If you’re new to contour or things in that area, I suggest this affordable bronzer is the perfect product for you. It’s amazing introduction to the world of contour and is really handy when travelling or when you need something to add definition. Today I’ll be reviewing Bourjois Delice de Poudre Bronzing Powder. I can’t pronounce it either, so we’re going to call it the Bourjois chocolate bronzer.

This is a smooth, soft, creamy primer with a mat finish. I use it as a primer or for contouring. Both ways it works great. It is very natural looking and good blendable...and I just love the smell of it! After months of speculation - and of course the near-empty counters that have not escaped notice - it has been confirmed that Bourjois are pulling out of the UK. The news actually broke a few weeks ago but given all that is currently unfolding, I can't say it fully resonated until I had a little spare time to finally de-clutter my beauty stash. It lasts a really long time and is amazing to warm up the face. It’s not good if you want something to contour with, but it’s a good affordable bronzer to add warmth and an amazing smell. Other bronzers might make you end up like a disco ball, but the Bourjois Delice de Poudre Bronzing Powder serves as the perfect powder to contour with, or just to add a subtle sun-kissed glow. It has a delicious, rather heavenly chocolate scent, is even shaped like a chocolate bar, and one can barely resist to break a chunk off to eat. Im not sure if these are getting discontinued but I think I saw a couple of these at the Target at Broadway.

I generally like matte bronzers for contouring, but I found the colour in this too warm toned for my skin to use as a contour. However as a bronzer it gives a really natural golden tone to the skin.

If you are new at bronzing, just a beginner, the Bourjois Paris Delice de Poudre Bronzing Powder will be a perfect aid, as it gives you the control to build the colour up, and has a very natural touch. Michelle - most people look good with a hint of colour, super pale is no longer the colour for me :) My favourite thing about this bronzer is the smell. It smells so yummy, of chocolates and coconuts. I seriously start craving desserts every time I smell this! Even the product inside it is made to look like chocolate. I'm hooked!
