So long has it taken me to read certain books that I've come, often inappositely, to associate them with the stations I happened to have been standing on at the time. It is important to weigh up the pros and cons of commuting by plane as opposed to traditional methods of commuting (car or ground public transport).Like most, each have issues they're coping with and as they connect with Iona, she offers advice for each and as its adopted, they realize what a gift it was to meet her. Although this segment is just a couple of miles in length, it is there that time seems only measured by the rhythms of my feet and my breathing. The book was enjoyable and anyone who has ever sat and watched people and made up stories about what they do and where they are going will enjoy the main character, Barnaby and his misbegotten new hobby. The movie is full of thrills and twists and fits right in with a lot of Neeson's other recent work, but where did the movie come from?
Iona Iverson’s Rules for Commuting brings together an assortment of seemingly dissimilar train commuters who come from very different backgrounds but all share this common thread: their mooring has come loose, and beneath their polite and cool British exteriors, each is quite desperately in need of help to find a new path forward. I was bored half way through the book, I did not care about any characters nor Iona for some reason.I spoke to two different agents who each explained that despite what I was told, my husband and daughter cannot, under any circumstances, use the tickets in the commuter book.
