By unlocking new content in the Disney Infinity play sets, players are able to build their own worlds and essentially create their own game. When the figurines are placed on the Infinity Base, the characters are imported into the game, while world discs unlock Play Sets. It received a 75 and 74 out of 100 on review aggregator site Metacritic, for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 respectively. This "game" has only few worlds, where specific missions can be performed and kids can enjoy it, but after few hours of play there is not much to do.

I bought the Infinity Starter Pack as I was told that my grandson would like this or his birthday present. Characters, playsets and other features are brought into the game using figurines and discs with the included Infinity Base. I recieved all the starter pack but I am very disapointed as my captain jack sparrow does not work I have tried everything to make it work and it is not! El juego es muy divertido, pero de las tres historias que trae, sin lugar a dudas, la de piratas del caribe es la mejor y donde la de los increíbles es la peor con diferencia, haciéndose muy repetitivo.
