After lots of surging problems with my Honda HRX426 mower and after thorough cleaning and blowing through of jets on original carburettor decided to fit new very cheap Chinese copy carburettor. This was supplied with some kind of preservative inside the carburettor which I drained out fitted it ran fuel through the drain plug refitted plug, turned the fuel on left it for 2 minutes to let carb fill and away it went. I don’t understand this but when I turn it off the fuel will continue to fill the carb until it runs out of the carb and it didn’t do that before.
