About this deal

We carry a broad range of CDs and vinyl (7”/12” singles and LPs) and specialise in indie, alternative, rock, punk, metal plus a few other genres. As you all know on new lps the static stops the record from slipping out the inner so this records dirt lines and grease marks was direct from the factory in that condition.

Neil Barnes brought the group back in 2010 and went on tour, recorded a new album and generally pushed Leftfield back into the limelight. The album cover is a shot taken by lauded photographer Steve McCurry, whose work includes the celebrated photograph Afghan Girl. In the edit page, go to the 'Metadata' tab and add your Juno artist, label or release page for listeners to purchase your release / releases.

Most purchases from business sellers are protected by the Consumer Contract Regulations 2013 which give you the right to cancel the purchase within 14 days after the day you receive the item. For a long time, Leftfield were cast in the historic lens of that classic 90s phenomenon, the chart-baiting dance 'band'. Leftfield (originally comprised of Neil Barnes and Paul Daley), have been at the cutting edge of dance music since the 1990s, releasing albums that have become some of the most influential electronic records of all time around the world with their debut LP 'Leftism' being widely regarded as one of the most boundary-pushing electronic LPs ever released. Exploring themes around love, acceptance, diversity and healing, the album was written before and after two extremely challenging and transformative periods in the life of Leftfield’s Neil Barnes. Leftism is the debut studio album by English electronic music duo Leftfield (Neil Barnes and Paul Daley), originally released in 1995 on Columbia Records.

This is What We Do is the first album in seven years from seminal electronic music pioneers and two-time Mercury Prize nominees Leftfield. Currently reaching a new audience through Idris Elba’s Gucci ad, this is their 4th album in their 28 year history. PRIMAVERA: THE BLAG INTRODUCTION It’s a massive understatement to say a lot has changed since we bought our ‘early bird’ tickets for Barcelona Primavera 2020 within a couple of weeks. A continuation of their lineage, which can be traced back to 1989, This Is What We Do is a bold counterpoint to the self-conscious cookie-cutter dance music that dominates the current landscape. Products labelled '*item fulfilled by Exertis on behalf of hmv' will be supplied to you directly by Exertis via their approved couriers. The album contains guest spots from musicians not associated with dance music at the time such as John Lydon from Public Image Ltd. Neil has also been cementing his reputation as a top-tier DJ and record collector unleashing modern dance floor weapons, selling out venues, headlining festivals and creating some amazing nights with his sets. Henderson makes a major contribution to the album, especially on Totem Pole, where his solos showed off his singular style, threatening to upstage Morgan, who is also fairly impressive here. Now consisting solely of Neil Barnes since the project’s reactivation in 2010, it’s a satisfying slate of reliably bass-heavy progressive house, featuring the ace single ‘Pulse’.
