Christabel's Supper Club - Taking place in her flat in Hoxton, overlooking the Regent's Canal, Christabel's inspiration comes from her travels and I love travelling, and finding unusual flavours and ingredients, as well as interesting collaborations. Ever spooned something oh-so-delicious into your mouth and found yourself wondering: what's that amazing flavour? Well, at Fat Macy's supper club you'll find yourself doing that quite a lot. But here's the thing, the flavour you'll be tasting won't just be from superlative spices and heaps of herbs, it'll also be the sweet, sweet flavour of change. This isn't any old supper club, this is also a social enterprise working to help young Londoners find their feet. Fat Macy's has spent the last three years dishing up incredible food with an incredible mission. It trains up aspiring chefs, giving them the life skills and qualifications to move from hostels to homes. Each supper club consists of a three-course meal designed by the trainee chef of the night. Trainees volunteer their time at events and in return they receive 'credit', which eventually manifests into a secure deposit fund for the trainee's house. This truly is dining with a difference. Each woman has been interviewed by Roberta and Stevie before they receive an invitation; each is hurting and vulnerable. No longer will they repress their feelings, they'll celebrate. Club Lola-A new regular supper club in Brixton that serves up fuss-free food with shabby-chic finesse. Club Lola is run by food geek Lola in her quirky home and caters for 16 people. Expect a chilled vibe, good chats and great grub. British/European food – king prawn and watermelon gazpacho // slow-cooked pressed lamb // lemon and rosemary posset. Gumbo Galley - A vegetarian supperclub inspired by the South of the US, run by a chef originally from New Orleans, and held in a mews house located near to Great Portland Street tube, for 14 people at a time.

What do you know about Nicaraguan food? Well, at Girl and the Goose, you’re about to know a whole lot more, as chef Gabriela Grasser has a modern take on this exciting cuisine. The recent menus included organic seabass ceviche and and aguachile. The beauty is in the presentation, which will have you snapping before sampling. If you’re looking for a more intimate experience, she also hosts nights for two to three diners. The dinner takes place in Dubai Marina, and spots are confirmed on a first come, first served basis.

What actually is a supper club, we hear you ask! Well, it's a good question - where does a supper club become a restaurant, or stop being a pop-up? Supper clubs are places for people to enjoy fine, high-quality food, without formalities.Many supper clubs are hosted by people in their own houses, so it feels as though you're visiting them for dinner, but you're paying them for the privilege. I guess it’s kind of like a cookery club” I replied “But it’s not just about the actual food. It’s sort of about how we assert ourselves in space. In different spaces.
