About this deal

But when something like this goes viral, you just know its real meaning is getting blown way out of proportion. There are many other things to learn from the book while we begin our journey of manifesting. Reading this book gives positivity and a new perspective. Whether you want to attract your soulmate, land the perfect job, buy the home you have always wanted, or simply find more inner-peace and confidence, Manifest will teach you exactly how to get there.

But has this all just been a clever marketing tactic from Roxie asking her influencer friends to promote the book? And although Roxie has since left her “hedonistic, partying” ways behind her and started a self-development journey, you need to be aware when reading this book and taking on her advice, that this woman is clearly privileged and well-known in the entertainment industry. Manifestēšanā sastopas zinātne un viedums; tā ir dzīves filozofija un pašizaugsmes prakse, kas palīdz dzīvot labāku dzīvi." (12.lpp.)Author Roxie Nafousi emphasizes self-love and trust in the power of the universe. She also draws attention to the way social media throws our minds on the comparison. Mantra ir vārds, frāze vai skaņa, kuru jebkruā brīdī vari atkārtot prātā vai skaļi, lai veicinātu apzinātību, mazinātu stresu un paaugstinātu vibrāciju." (47.lpp.) As manifestation would suggest, this is just a test “you must overcome before you can progress any further.” That there will be other dream clients who will come your way and will want to work with you. So you have to admit, this book, and the manifest expert herself, seem like a pretty big deal right now.

But honestly, isn’t it way more fun not knowing that your soulmate is just around the corner? Rather than manifesting them and constantly waiting for them to show up?Roxie is someone who has also experienced imposter syndrome, as do so many others, so reading her story made me feel less alone. Even getting this book published seemed a little too simple. Although Roxie claims she manifested this to happen, she actually already knew someone from a talent agency who put her in touch with someone from Penguin. A significant part of the book is an attempt to explain this odd idea, showing how ‘inner’ states could create ‘outer’ outcomes.

So, ultimately, the book’s central idea seem to become a kind of religious idea with a godlike universe, which converts people’s ‘inner’ states into ‘outer’ outcomes. She explained each step in detail that the book will make you feel that you can easily manifest your dreams. There were many sentences that went like this; “whenever you make the energy shift to overcome your test, you will be rewarded with abundance.” Whether you believe in manifestation or not, this book will be the catalyst you need to inspire and motivate you to make your life what you want. The best way to remove envy is to remove fears and doubts that are inviting it. Too much focus on the future prevents us from living in the present and embracing gratitude. Before I go in heavy on what I didn’t like about this book, let’s first look at the things I did like about Manifest.

A meeting of science and wisdom, manifesting is a philosophy and a self-development practice to help you reach for your goals, cultivate self-love, and live your best life. This chapter includes plenty of guided exercises and journaling prompts to help you make these mindset changes too. Laid out in seven simple steps – starting with “Be Clear In Your Vision”, and ending with “Trust In The Universe” – the book is full of clear, concise and accessible tips on making manifesting part of your everyday life, and the practical approach means even readers who dismiss such things as “woo-woo” might just be persuaded to reconsider. Roxie Nafousi is a manifesting expert, self-development coach, author, and ambassador for the mental health foundation. She has helped many people to fulfil their dream through her workshops and webinars. She is a speaker on the wellness and mental health panel both in and outside the UK. Book Summary of Manifest: 7 Step to Living Best of life by Roxie NafousiAnother thing that started to annoy me about this book was all the success stories of Roxie's clients. These were abundant throughout the entire book and all were pretty much testimonials to her own work, full of circumstantial evidence that her seven steps system for manifestation actually works. But anyway, if you also dislike long-winded and scientific self-help books then Manifest is definitely for you.
