About this deal

You want really good ANC: These do clamp down on outside sound, but not at the same level as other premium earbuds, such as the Sony WF-1000XM4 at #1 on the list.

Although we have dedicated testing facilities in London, Reading and Bath, the bulk of our wireless earbuds testing happens outside those facilities, whether that's on the street or in our busy office. Now, the real question is whether the ANC is really useful while using semi-open earbuds? The truth is, there is only a slight change from simple passive noise isolation. There is some reduction of sound but let’s face it, these are semi-open earbuds my friends. Quite literally there will always be at least a minor loss of a seal and so it is very difficult to cancel out any noises with this setup. One feature that sets the Air apart from the cheaper Free earbuds is the addition of four-microphone noise-cancelling call technology. Essentially, the Air can filter out distractions, ensuring call quality is clear with one or both earbuds. I found that calls were relatively noise-free, and combined with the touch controls for holding/transferring calls, I can see these earbuds being a fantastic option for those who make frequent calls on a daily basis. SoundPEATS could most certainly improve the app for users. Better equaliser pre-set features such as bass, vocal, pop etc which could allow users to choose from, then a better customisation area for those that wish to tweak certain aspects for themselves. Sound Quality. You can also see the remaining battery level via the SoundPEATS app (more on this later). SoundPEATS Air4 Lite Earbuds. It’s very easy to pair the SoundPEATS Air4 Lite Earbuds to your device via Bluetooth. Simply remove the earbuds, they’ll automatically enter pairing mode, then search for SoundPEATS Air4 Lite on your device, confirm pairing, and that’s it. They’ll then automatically pair to the last connected device each time they’re removed from the charging case. The SoundPEATS Air4 Lite Earbuds features a Qualcomm® QCC3071 Bluetooth V5.3 chip. Upon turning on the noise canceling, you’ll notice an immediate reduction in surrounding noise. It adeptly mutes voices and higher-frequency disturbances, offering a more serene listening environment. While the noise canceling might not completely eliminate all external sounds, it shines particularly in suppressing lower-frequency nuisances like air conditioning units and engine noises. Sound quality To experience the best noise-canceling performance, it’s important to ensure that the earbuds are properly positioned to create a reasonable seal. Once the noise-canceling mode is activated, the microphones immediately spring into action, capturing external sounds and applying a dampening effect. You’d want higher-quality Bluetooth: No LDAC, no aptX – you're on lower-quality streaming only here. Charging Case: SoundPEATS knows the importance of staying connected, and the charging case for the Air4 Earbuds ensures you’re never without your tunes. Compact yet robust, this charging case provides ample juice for multiple recharges, with an LED indicator that keeps you in the know. It’s like a cozy little home for your earbuds, giving them the energy to serenade you all day long.

The soundstage is what you’d expect, or would you? I hear a decently wide psycho-acoustically rendered stage. The stage size is average in height and there’s actually some decent depth to the sound. I’d say the stage is well laid out actually. You have to think, the sound is certainly more airy and open sounding. There isn’t anything congested or veiled at all. The sound is pretty dynamically expressive with decent macro-dynamics. You won’t hear a concert hall or anything, but the stage is in front of the listener with a nice half-circle all around me. Again, there is nice depth which I wasn’t expecting at all. The stage is pretty good, and I don’t think it’ll let anyone down. The only time the stage shrinks a bit is with ANC toggled “on”. Everything gets a hint more congested, not veiled either, just more intimate or warm. Separation / Imaging credit at the lowest price within the last 90 days. Proper ID will be required in the form of a valid, state- However, Beats earbuds offer a great fit and excellent sound. Particularly the Beats Fit Pro, which we highly recommend if you're looking for a pair of earbuds for working out. They're also a little more affordable than Bose options and have a more stylish design. Which wireless earbuds are just as good as Apple AirPods? We'll also start with a full charge and see how accurate battery life claims are and just how it's drained during day-to-day use.

One of the best features about any Soundpeats wireless device is its ability to connect to the Soundpeats App. One of the easier to understand, simplest and most functional apps out there as far as wireless devices go. It isn’t the most diverse and intricate, but it gets the job done. First, you can obviously make firmware upgrades through the app. You can also play around with the EQ presets, of which Soundpeats provides nine different presets. Furthermore, you can also make your own personalized EQ changes through the Custom EQ and the beauty of that is your personal EQ settings save to your earbuds for good until you change them again. In the app you can toggle Game Mode, ANC Settings, toggle Dual-Device Connection, increase or decrease the volume (most of this you can do from the earbuds themselves) and you can reset the earbuds from the app too. EQ Calls sound clear, and the battery life is seven hours from the buds and a further 28 hours from the charging case. Amazingly it all feels fairly premium too. The Bluetooth 5.0 connection is solid and stable and for the money, the wireless earbuds offer an energetic and spacious sound. Please make sure that the earbuds Bluetooth name is the default “SOUNDPEATS Air4“.If you changed the default name, please change to its original format. Then restart your phone. Please note that if you change the default Bluetooth name of the model, it may cause connection issue to this app.As with any purchasing decision, individual preferences and priorities will play a significant role in determining whether the SoundPEATS Air4 is the right fit. SoundPEATS Air4: Video Review Up close, the resemblance is less obvious. There’s no silver ring at the bottom and the stem is wide enough to feature the EarFun logo. The shiny, lightweight plastic makes it apparent that these are a cheaper pair of earbuds, but the build quality is hardly surprising given their price. They don’t support wireless charging like the AirPods Pro 2, and the battery isn't spectacular at six hours per charge with 18 hours in the charging case with the ANC on. The ANC isn't best-in-class either – but they have more stability in the ear than anything else here, and that's the crucial thing. Try disabling Bluetooth from nearby devices >>> then activate pairing mode of the earbuds, pair and connect earbuds from Settings >>> Bluetooth & other devices >>> Add a new device >>>> elect Bluetooth,

You used an iPhone: They work fine as basic earbuds with iPhone, but AirPods give you so many more features. It's a shame there's no support for high-quality wireless audio codecs such as LDACor aptX HD, nor is there wireless charging or Bluetooth multipoint (both of which the Sony WF-1000XM5 cater for). But we don't think this is the end of the world when you consider that these classy buds ooze such sophistication. The in-built omni-directional microphones are great for phonecalls, I could be heard easily without any loss of sound. Technical Specifications.Finding a good pair of wireless earbuds can be a challenge. It’s not that there aren’t enough options; on the contrary, there are too many. The reason for this is straightforward. There are tons of small startup companies that want to break into making electronics. At seven hours, the Air boast a longer lasting battery than many competing wireless earbuds. I tested the battery myself and found they did last around the seven-hour mark. An additional four charges are stored in the wireless charging case for a total playtime of 35 hours.
