The IQ size and shape feels good, but it would be better if there was a sleeve that provided a non-slip grip while reducing the heat. I don’t mind how warm the unit gets, but wouldn’t want it to get any hotter. It’s very very good through a glass rig. The 10mm adapter they give you can of course fit 10mm rigs but you see me using in my clips is actually a 14mm male rig but this 10mm adapter happens to fit right on the end. The IQ features bluetooth connectivity and can link up to a smartphone app that us available on iOS and Android. This app opens up your vape to a whole new level of functionality. Through the app you can turn you IQ on and off, you can control the temperature setting of your chamber and you can use the smart path function. The temperature control of the DaVinci IQ is split over two settings; precision mode, and the smart path. The precision mode allows you to manually adjust the heat level of your vaporizer to a setting that suits your preferences. The Smart Path mode allows you to choose one of four settings. You can customise each preset and each lasts 10 minutes. Within this 10 minute window you can set your Iq to go through a whole array of presets, you can choose temperature increase, decreases, whatever you need for the ideal vaping experience. Both devices are compatible with the DaVinci Mobile App with the same functionality. Dosage, however, is limited to the IQ2. It has four preset or built smart paths, and then when you’re in precise mode you can set the temperature in 1 degree increments to whatever you want. I’ve used it about 5 times. The flavor and user experience is worth the cost, but I’m concerned about a few things. STANDARD 18650 batteries DO NOT FIT. The IQ is 1mm too short. You have to use non-standard no-nipple 18650 batteries not found easily. Great idea, bad design and execution. If you want to mess around with the Davinci IQ’s Smart Path settings, customizing them to your exact tastes, then you’ll need the phone app which is available for both iPhone and Android handsets. How you do this is simple: go to the Smart Path One, for instance, and change the temperatures to what you want, save it, and move onto the next one.
