About this deal

The EcoFlow River is the best solar generator of the three because it has more output power, more input (recharging) power, and more ports than the other options. It is the heaviest of the three, but this is the only downside. Generator So overall, not only is there more accessible AC power, but you can hook up way more devices at once. EcoFlow Delta 1300 – Overview & Application of Use The one major difference in ports comes to the AC ports, where the Delta has 1,800W of continuous power compared to the Explorer 1000’s 1,000W continuous. Multiple Output Ports: Two USB-C, two USB, one DC car port & two pure sine wave AC outlets. Go off-grid and power your cameras, computers, communication devices, CPAP, and electric grill. A: Yes, Explorer 1000 supports pass-through charging. But we don’t suggest, it will cause damage to battery life.

Its inverter strength is off the charts by any solar generator in its class. It can run its AC ports at 600W continuous, which is double that of the Explorer 300. Recharge: 3 ways to recharge: Solar Panel (2 Panels need 6.5 H, 1 Panel needs 10 H), AC Outlet(6.5 H), Car Outlet(12.5 H).

A surprisingly capable mobile power station with a lot of oomph

The MAXOAK BLUETTI EB240 is also a challenger to the Explorer 1000. It offers a higher battery capacity while boosting the same power rating for the inverter. The price of the EB240 is almost twice that of the Explorer 1000 while also being much bigger and heavier than the latter. NOTE: Estimates are my own calculations (90% inverter efficiency for AC-powered devices/appliances) A: Please note that the AC output port can only charge/power devices that operate at less than total 1000 Watt.

Power On The Go: Light at 25.4 lbs with foldable handle design a giving comfortable on the go experience. 46dB noise level ensures super-quiet charging, and smart screen display delivers crystal clear viewing. Additionally, three LED light modes - low, high light and SOS are present - suited for outdoor use and emergencies. Green Outdoor Power Solution: Efficient solar charging with a built-in MPPT charge controller. Turn it into a Solar Generator 1000 system by connecting two SolarSaga 100W solar panels (sold separately) allows fast, eco-friendly charging. Completely charge the battery with full sun in just 8 hours. NOTE: Estimates are my own calculations (90% inverter efficiency for AC-powered devices/appliances) Which Is Better Overall – The Explorer 1500 or Delta 1300? Generator It makes more sense to get the River Max with double the battery size so you can run things like a desktop computer for twice as long. EcoFlow River vs. Explorer 300 vs. Explorer 240 – What Can They Power? Appliance

OFF-GRID SOLAR GENERATOR, GREEN AND CLEAN POWER SUPPLY

Ultra-Charging System Only 1.8 Hours: 1,002Wh capacity with an output power of 1000W (2000W Surge Peak Power). Explorer 1000 pro takes 1.8 hours for a full wall charge and a full solar charge with 4* SolarSaga 200W. Supports up to 1000 charge cycles and the low self-discharge rate allows it to last 365 days from an 80% battery level. This makes the River Max extremely versatile. Since you can detach the additional battery (to make it into a standard River), you can use it for activities that may need more portability. The lifespan of the Delta’s battery is dependent on how it is used and maintained. For example, the Delta’s capacity will drop to 80% after 800 cycles of use. The River Max has one of the best inverters in its size category, with 600W continuous and 1,200W surge power. Supplying 1kW of power is no easy feat. The Explorer 1000 model is cooled thanks to its built-in fan that starts working whenever there is a moderate AC load. Air vents located on both sides of the case help further cool the internal battery and inverter circuitry. As such, it is recommended to have some clearance around the power station in case of extended use to help the airflow.

Safe & Reliable for Outdoor Camping: Features industry-leading cylindrical batteries (popular with manufacturers of Electric Vehicles) that meet UL safety standards. Certified with Impact-Resistance Class 9, passing the UL drop test (withstanding 3 drops from 0.9m height on any surface). The pure sine wave inverter delivers constant voltage that protects equipment from damage. For power saving, Explorer 1000 portable power station will be turned off automatically in 12 hours when being drawn under 10W power. However, this model costs the exact same amount of money as the EcoFlow River, and if I had to choose between the two, I would 100% buy the River. EcoFlow River – Pros & Cons Also, when it comes to its AC port output, it almost doesn’t make sense to have such a powerful inverter, as it will not run larger appliances for a long time. The monitor interface is easy to understand and shows the input/output wattage left and how much power could be reserved. Despite the massive capacity, this power station weighs 22 pounds. That’s not exactly light, but it’s reasonable. With its nicely sculpted, integrated handle, the Explorer 1000 is easy enough to carry for short distances. Another downside is that the River Max is really just the River power station with an added battery. You get all of the same functions as you would from the standard River power station. River Max vs. Explorer 500 – What Can They Power? Appliance Watt Continuous Output: High-powered with 2000W peak/1000W continuous output and an 880Wh capacity, the Explorer 880 can handle most outdoor situations. You don't have to worry about any devices running out of power. Basically, what this means is that the Delta will last longer than the Explorer 1000. This ultimately means that you’ll be getting much more value in terms of longevity from the Delta power station.

The Explorer 500 has one special feature which is an LED flashlight on the left side of the power station. It also has an SOS function, which may be useful if you ever get lost at night in the wild. Ideal for Home DIY: Supply electricity for high-power devices like electric hammers, small air compressors, circular saws, angle grinders, drills, etc. Not only that, but you can utilize EcoFlow’s X-Boost feature to power larger, more power-intensive appliances like a microwave. So, in reality, it can power appliances of up to 1,200W.You can add a second battery to the River to double its battery size, making it into the River Max power station (which I’ll be covering next). Inside the Solar Saga 100W's zippered pouch is a charger with USB-C and USB Type-A ports. Brad Moon
