Just a note to say how delighted I was with Net-trol and the results were amazing. The rust stains came out completely! As you know I had tried umpteen different chemicals and solutions but only Net-trol worked.

Net-Trol can remove stains caused by tannin bleed and will remove all traces of weathering caused by mildew, pollution and UV rays. Why should I use Net-Trol? Clean weathered wood with Net-Trol, to remove the loose wood fibres, dirt and other surface contaminants. If the wood is severely contaminated, clean it with Aquanett and neutralise with Net-Trol. Remove Dilunett and dissolved paint with a stiff nylon scrubbing brush or paint scraper while flushing with water. The use of hot water makes this part of the job easier. Alternatively, you can use a pressure washer (max 60bars / 870psi). Leave the Net-Trol to stand for approximately 15 – 20 minutes. If the surface starts to dry, you must moisten it again by using a spray of mist application of water. After stripping and rinsing, surfaces must immediately be treated with Net-Trol while still wet to neutralise the surface. All other oils or sealers must be completely and thoroughly removed with Aquanett and stripped surfaces neutralised with Net-Trol, before applying Deks Olje D1. Previously coated surfaces (Paint, Stain, Varnish, Waterproofers) Exterior wood – weathered grey or dirty: Cedar, Larch, Pine (pressure treated or not), Teak, Iroko, Ipe, ... Wet surface with fresh, clean water. Apply Owatrol Net-Trol. Scrub surface to agitate the Owatrol Net-Trol. Leave to stand for approx. 10-20 minutes. If surface starts to dry, dampen with a mist application of water. Scrub surface while flushing with water or use a pressure washer (max. 60 bar/870 psi). Rinse thoroughly with fresh clean water. If required repeat procedure. Hardwoods including exotic hardwoods and woods rich in tannins i.e. Cedar, Oak, Teak, Ipe etc may darken with Aquanett.
