About this deal

Use too little of the mixture: It's better to have some resin left over, as opposed to not having enough for your installation. Mixing a new batch to continue with the installation will lead to different curing times.

Our pour on resin is formulated to securly hold the gravel in place whilst retaining a natural look. Use dry sand, dry chemical or alcohol-resistant foam to extinguish. Store in a well-ventilated place away from heat sources. Keep container tightly closed. Limestone chips are typically used for driveways and paths, but tends to have more jagged edges and larger individual pieces than other gravels. Easihold will work on a patio which isn't to receive furniture. Easihold is great for occasional walking and light traffic. But for a busy patio, or a patio with furniture, we would recommend our Resin Bound Kits.Leave it alone for approximately 10 minutes to allow the resin to level out or self-level. Then broadcast the aggregate or mop the surfaces. Broadcasting should ensure that the resin is completely covered. Make sure you do not walk on the aggregate or resin while performing broadcasting. Once the process has been performed, masking tape should be removed. As the aggregate settles on the surface, keep an eye out for any heavy areas of excess resin and ensure that sufficient aggregate has been applied to keep consistency in appearance. If another area needs to be covered, leave a wet edge and start the process again while the other area is set, continue this process until it's completed.

Resin Bound Training Course A comprehensive one-day program designed to equip participants with the knowledge and practical skills required to install resin bound surfaces effectively. There are a lot of different types of gravel out there though, so which one should you use? Below, you will get a brief overview of the most commonly used gravels and how to choose the best one for your next project. The Most Commonly Used Types of Gravel Pour on gravel binder is typically sold in either 1 gallon or 5-gallon containers. Around the home, it is a marvelous product for turning loose gravel into a clean, hard surface that’s easy to walk on.

Concrete will need at least 7 days to cure correctly. It is also important to understand that any base used, the moisture levels on the surface must meet the acceptable level recommended by the resin manufacturer. All the advice of the manufacturer and their recommendations should be followed. This includes preparation, proper cleaning, etching, or any other process that is being used. With proper application, your gravel binder creates a stable, attractive surface that can last for over 5 years. It is not only practical but cosmetically enhancing as well. In fact, the look of your entire landscape will be enhanced. Some other limitations to keep in mind include: GravelHold can be poured from a watering can, using around 1 litre per square metre. Ensure your stones are evenly coated for best results. A sprinkler rose should be used to ensure distribution. Or, if desired, 3mm diameter holes can be drilled into the lid of the GravelHold container to create a sprinkler effect and be used similarly to a watering can. Our pour on gravel resin system can be used with any aggregate upto 10mm. If you have existing aggregate this should be clean and dry prior to application.
