Also in MAD, a reference to Alien Force was made with a parody of the movie Cowboys & Aliens, with many titles: "Cowboys & Alien Force", "Cowboys & Equestrians", and "Cowboys & Silly Bands". The reference was made at the beginning when Jake awakes with Ben on his side, but with Jake wearing Ben's pants and hat, with the Onmitrix on his wrist. This show reset the idea of the original series where Ben, Gwen, and Grandpa Max travel across America on a road trip. Many aspects from all 4 of the previous seasons were worked into the reboot, including several Aliens from the later seasons being available within the first season of the reboot. In addition to including more aliens, the previously explored aliens were also given new forms thanks to armors, enhancements, and amalgamations. In the episode "So Long and Thanks for All the Smoothies", the universe is destroyed and so then Ben as Alien X simply builds another universe that was just like the old one. Another major storyline is that Earth was taken over by the Incursean Empire. Ben was defeated and exiled into space where his sentence was death, but he had an unlikely ally. Azmuth also gave him his Incursean transformation which allowed him to return to Earth and save it thus ending the Incursean rule and saving Earth yet again. When Albedo returned he recreated the Ultimatrix and attempted to take over the universe by stealing Azmuth's intelligence, but he was stopped. Gwen and Kevin do make occasional appearances now, but they are simply minor recurring characters now. Max Tennyson is a part of Ben's team again and has been in nearly every episode. Alternate Universe Versions A second crossover titled Ben Gen 10 aired as a part of the 5th and last season of the Ben 10 reboot and featured new versions of several Generator Rex characters in the reboot universe. Ultimate Echo Echo is the evolved form of Echo Echo. Like Echo Echo he control and manipulate sound. He is a lot stronger then Echo Echo as he can create sonic booms that can shatter metal, steel and iron easily. He can also fly by projecting waves around himself allowing him to fly fast enough to cause a sonic boom and open a portal to hyperspace. He can create sounds waves strong enough to contain a mini nuke. He can also make sound disk that have major destructive power hit Kevin though several buildings. Jetray

In 2013, in response to fan questioning about rumors of a Gwen 10 spin-off series, Man of Action confirmed they were actively working with a Japanese anime company to develop a series that would "just follow Gwen without any Ben" as they attend college, retaining her boyfriend Kevin Levin as a supporting character, citing the character's greater popularity in Asia compared to Ben as the reason for the solo series entering development.
