About this deal

This concentrated first salon step rebuilds broken disulfide bonds and begins the process of preventing damage and repairing the hair. Now stepping into the at-home arena, No.0 is a primer that should be applied from roots to ends before slathering on the No.3 mask. This isn’t a necessary step in the Olaplex system but is an additional one you can take to maximise its benefits. What has kept me hooked is the undetectable and surprisingly lightweight spray. No matter how many times I spritz, it never settles or clings to my roots (which is one of my major pet peeves). Once blow-dried, I am always stunned by the lift and body it brings to my limp lengths; my hair looks plump at the roots and flows down the sides of my face with a bouncy wave. As someone with fine, low-porosity hair, I always struggle to find a volumising product that works for me. It's not often they deliver the same result as shown on the model, or they’ll leave a residue that feels a little crispy once dried. This professional Olaplex service consists of two steps to repair and protect the hair. Some salons may list this as a service, but not all Olaplex salons do. Everyone can benefit from this treatment, not just those getting chemical treatments!

Olaplex works to repair hair internally. No. 1 and No. 2 are used together as a powerhouse treatment to restore and protect your hair. The main purpose of No. 1 Bond Multiplier is to be used in conjunction with chemical services to protect and repair damage during the treatment. Because of this, it has very specific usage instructions. These are the ultimate foundation for all of the OLAPLEX range. They can be used as a stand-alone or in a chemical service treatment. Using these 2 would be the most nourishing for your hair as they contain the highest amount of Bis-aminoproshyl. There are a few fun ways stylists can use No. 2 as an add-on service above and beyond adding it at the shampoo bowl after using No. 1 mixed in with a color or chemical treatment. Stand-alone treatment Having got my mitts on the Olaplex No.8 I decided, for a brief moment, to do exactly what I was told for my hair. I freshly shampooed, applied (a few more than) the recommended 2 pumps, swooned over the delicious scent – not strictly in the instructions but I challenge you not to do the same – and worked the product through my mid-lengths to ends with my fingers.

I use the shampoo and conditioner for every other hair wash – as it’s a reparative treatment, you don’t need to overdo it. I then switch between my No.3 and No.8 hair masks once a week, and I’m never without the No.7 Bonding Oil to protect my hair from heat damage. You should always apply Olaplex No.0 Intensive Bond Building Treatment on dry hair. When it comes to how much to use, it’s good to lightly saturate each section of dry hair for the No. 2 works effectively to rebuild and continue to restore any remaining broken bonds that may have been missed by OLAPLEX No.1, ensuring full nourishment to every strand of your clients hair. Hair is left feeling stronger, shinier, and healthier. If you have a lot of product or oil buildup, shampoo first and start with wet, towel dried hair for best results. Without rinsing, apply a generous amount of No. 2 Bond Perfector from root to ends. Comb through thoroughly.

No.1 is a solution-based treatment that works to repair damaged hair. It’s a concentrated first step that hairdressers use to lessen the unwanted effects of chemical dyeing such as brittleness and breakage. It can also be added to glosses and toners. Olaplex No.2 Bond PerfectorAlthough it may not seem, damage still occurs daily to virgin or untreated hair via thermal, mechanical, or environmental factors. the Olaplex No.0 Intensive Bond Building Treatment can help you build the silky hair you’re looking for, whether it’s curly or straight.
