About this deal

Costs as little as 18 p/hour to run: Our energy-efficient dehumidifier has been designed to automatically shut off once it has reached your desired humidity level.

Overall, it's not the most powerful dehumidifier you can buy, and it can't cope with high moisture levels – we found it made little difference when drying wet washing for example. However, it did a great job of clearing condensation on windows and managing moisture levels in a small bedroom when left running overnight. The unit isn't the lightest or most compact we've tested, but then we wouldn't expect that from a machine this powerful. However, built-in wheels, a retractable carry handle, and cable tidy make it easier to move around the house and store neatly away when it's not in use. This model has a 10L/day moisture extraction capacity and a massive 3L water tank. It might have a lower extraction rate than the Pro Breeze 12L and 20L but due to it being a desiccant dehumidifier, it will drastically outperform BOTH of these models in low temperatures. A 10L extraction rate can still be considered on the larger end for desiccant types.

10 Litre Desiccant Dehumidifier With Drainage Hose For Cold Temperatures

Hour Switch-Off Timer: The dehumidifier features an up to 4-hour programmable timer, which will automatically turn off to save energy. Combined with whisper-quiet operation, this makes the dehumidifier perfect for use overnight. The results of this are extremely interesting and confirm our suspicions. Whilst mini dehumidifiers consume less electricity than larger models, they are significantly less efficient. Cutting the Cost of Using a Dehumidifier Most dehumidifiers are noisy, averaging decibel levels of between 34-48dB. That's because they draw in air via a fan and then use a compressor and refrigerant to cool and condense the air to extract the moisture from it. For your convenience, we have prepared a table with some of the most well-known dehumidifiers, their extraction rate, wattage and energy consumption in pounds. You can see that energy consumption amongst dehumidifiers can vary significantly, mini dehumidifiers, cheaper brands, and refrigerant types often use the least electricity. Model

Overall, if you can put up with its increased noise volume and absorb the higher running costs, we think thePro Breeze 20L Premium Dehumidifier with Special Laundry Modeis a good buy. It's definitely the best dehumidifier for drying clothes that we've tested, and anything that makes wet-weather laundry days easier is a win in our books.

About Pro Breeze

The Pro Breeze® 10L Desiccant Dehumidifier can extract up to 10 litres of moisture each day. It can operate efficiently in all temperatures from 1°C to 40°C, making it great for use all year round especially with the unpredictability of UK weather. The EcoAir DD1 Simple MK3 Dehumidifier can extract up to 7.5 litres of moisture per day in cold temperatures as low as 1ºc, so it's a very useful option for conservatorys, basements or garages that don't have dedicated heating, as well as unheated rooms in the home during winter months. Vibrant LED Colours: Select 6 vibrant colours to illuminate the water tank and add some ambient lighting to your room or bedroom. A dehumidifier's extraction rate is an average of how much moisture it can remove from the air during a given timeframe. Most commonly this is measured in litres per day, so an extraction rate of 10L/per day means the dehumidifier should be able to extract 10 litres of moisture within 24 hours if running continuously. In practice, this also depends on the humidity levels of the room, and the ambient temperature. However, if you're looking for a dehumidifier for use in a cold climate, the EcoAir DD1 Simple MK3 Dehumidifier's 1ºc operating temperature is hard to beat.
