About this deal

To gain further insight into this fascinating connection, researchers have conducted studies examining the impact of smells on dreaming patterns. One such study found that introducing specific odors while participants were asleep influenced their dream content by incorporating elements related to those scents. This suggests that external stimuli can shape our olfactory experiences even within the realm of dreams. Memory’s Role in Dream Smells I got given a few samples of this and tested it recently. This certainly is a strange one. First of all I dismissed it as just another ' blah' perfume as the first blast smelt very synthetic and cheap. slightly screech, even, tuberose - they will probably think, generic, as in not "interesting" enough + patch - bc it's tuberose & jasmine + the firewood etc in the base - it's not ambre/patch - or out blended - it's nothing along the lines of say, Coromandel, & nothing like the Dubai-style favourites, that hv been huge hits with the niche crowd. Tbh,if it were her mixing a few oils & wearing them together (subtly,) as she says she did, (still does?) - maybe you would get away with it - some of my aunts friends (vegans mostly..) did wear that kind of thing in the v early 90s - a cpl of them still do; & when I'm in Paris, or Finland, espc - & in the Paris office, some media types, some models, & some general canons do wear, various oils, maybe a patch & jasmine mix + some green, so some current fashion types hv started doing that 90's-esque (ofc it's really 70's-esque, all that,) but some do "kind of" mix these types of notes, & make an oil/mix something, in the style of this - but it's a lot more subtle, & a lot more rounded that way - the ones who do, are kind of "not perfume" ppl - they put that on, in the morning, & then forget about it - & it mixes with the scent of their hair conditioner, lingering I theur still damp hair, lingers alongside their Ouai hair products or their coconut hair products, & the scent is part of a layered effect - that emerges quite pleasant - but this is the full-on, perfume version, & it's a bit strident, a bit scratchy + the patch in it is pretty persistent; then add in the somewhat vocal tuberose with its whiny insistence, it can get a bit much - wear gently, this one , if you do. Scent of a Dream 100ml: Scent of a Dream 100ml: my one-of-a-kind floral-scented perfume in a luxurious 100ml bottle inspired by LOVE, LIGHT, POWER, POSITIVITY and JOY! To better understand how memory contributes to dream smells, scientists have conducted numerous studies exploring the relationship between olfaction and dreaming. These studies have revealed intriguing findings regarding how specific areas of the brain responsible for processing smell—such as the olfactory bulb—are active during REM (rapid eye movement) sleep, the stage of sleep most closely associated with dreaming. Psychology of Smell in Dream Experiences

Understanding the neurological mechanisms behind smelling in dreams contributes to our knowledge of how the brain constructs these immersive experiences. By delving into the intricacies of these processes, scientists can gain insights into how our minds create alternate realities while we sleep. Research suggests that fragrances can influence our dreams. The brain’s olfactory system remains active during sleep, processing smells and incorporating them into our dreams. This phenomenon has puzzled scientists for years, as we do not physically smell anything while we sleep. As you inhale deeply, you can vividly smell the fragrant roses and freshly cut grass in your dream reports. Yes, most people have the ability to experience smells while dreaming. However, individual variations may occur. Are there any common scents that frequently appear in dreams? Smells encountered during dreams can evoke strong emotional reactions due to their association with personal experiences or traumas.Smell-related dream content can be influenced by cultural and individual associations with specific odors. The interpretation of smells in dreams may vary based on psychological factors such as personality traits or emotional state. On Tilbury's part, Moss proved the perfect choice due to the hypnotic, beguiling qualities that have underpinned her modelling success. "She encompasses everything that is ethereal and powerful about this perfume. I have known Kate for 25 years now, and have had so many incredible experiences with her… she gets me, and she gets the scent," Tilbury said. "She instinctively knew how to convey on camera the way that this scent is a portal for love, light, power, positivity and sex. She is the ultimate modern day icon.' Dreams serve as a window into our subconscious minds, revealing hidden desires, fears, and unresolved conflicts. The presence of specific smells within our dreams can offer valuable clues about what lies beneath the surface of our conscious awareness. For example, if someone frequently dreams about the pungent odor of burning wood or smoke, it may signify feelings of anxiety or impending danger lurking within their psyche.

Charlotte and I have always had this instant, naughty chemistry - we danced side by side together during the shoot," Moss said. "Charlotte has this electric passion and energy for life - she's a bit magical. It felt totally natural to do her first fragrance campaign together." Individuals with fond memories of visiting the beach may find themselves surrounded by the salty tang of ocean air.

There is no definitive answer as dream scents vary greatly among individuals. Some people may encounter familiar smells from their daily lives, while others may experience more abstract or symbolic odors. Can smelling something specific in a dream have real-life implications? Dreaming serves as a platform for the brain to engage in complex neurological processes that simulate various sensations, including smelling. While the exact mechanisms behind this phenomenon are not yet fully understood, researchers believe it involves a combination of memory recall and imagination. As we dream, our brains draw upon stored memories and generate novel scenarios that incorporate different sensory inputs. I have many samples of Scent of a Dream and in truth I couldn't even be bothered to see what it was like and gave it to my young daughter for her dressing up box. I find the strap line "...enhances your powers of attraction." hilarious! There is something so deliciously naff about it.
