About this deal

The book opens by examining the reality of supply chains, something most of us will need a refresher on, and proceeds to explain the ramifications of supply chain break down, and how this can take years, even decades, to rebuild. The New York Times did not do a book review on this Malkin book, and they ignored her use of the term crapweasel in the plural on the cover. In 2009 they praised her first hardcover book. This book is a behemoth! A visual delight and a veritable design encyclopedia of sneaker design, Sneaker Freaker takes the reader through decades of print advertising in all the major gym shoe manufacturers. There is a lot of information and opinions within this book. No matter your political orientation, the author has succeeded in at least making you think. His arguments seemed well reasoned and invite to the reader, further investigation. Hal Salzman. "STEM Grads Are at a Loss". U.S. News & World Report . Retrieved November 19, 2015. Where this book really shines, however, is in its impressively detailed probe into the politics of immigration "reform." The authors document how expensive lobbying and strategic donations have brought politicians of both major parties and all ideological persuasions to support increased high-skill migration, despite its deleterious effects. They do this in my own favorite section of the book, chapter 12, "Exposed: How Beltway Crapweasels Cooked Up the Gang of Eight's 'Comprehensive Immigration Reform.' You’re better able to determine which books need better marketing and can work with your publisher to improve things on that front. I’m sure it’s useful for indies who upload to each store separately, but not for authors like me who publish both independently and through traditional publishers. They told us they could replace one of us with three, four, or five Indian personnel and still save money," one laid-off Edison worker told me, recounting a group meeting with supervisors last year. "They said, 'We can get four Indian guys for cheaper than the price of you.' You could hear a pin drop in the room.

Suppose you are looking for a book that could be summarized as a boomer's unending complaint about everything (literally everything, from vaccines to women's emancipation). In that case, this book will be right up your alley. More than a decade in the making, Soled Out is the definitive - and only - collection of sneaker advertisements from the footwear industry's golden age. Lovingly written and compiled by Simon 'Woody' Wood, founder of the legendary Sneaker Freaker magazine and author of The Ultimate Sneaker Book , this colossal volume combines nearly 900 vintage images with a punchy narrative full of insider stories and historical revelations. It is quite clear the author is largely blinded by his extreme political ideology and, as a result, while some of his analyses might well be otherwise sound, his conclusions and recommendations are horribly flawed. In truth, the greatest challenge to investors is not asset allocation, it’s the demise of sound money. A sound money system is not imposed, it is earned through the trust of system members. Digital money may be a new preceptual mode, but that does not change human nature. Trust is a nice blend of right hemisphere emotion and left hemisphere calculation. It exists (or not) in villages and central bank board rooms." it's all right there, live at your fingertips, ready for you to ask it the questions that drive your business.Sold Out: How High-Tech Billionaires & Bipartisan Beltway Crapweasels Are Screwing America's Best & Brightest Workers is a 2015 book authored by Michelle Malkin and John Miano, a displaced high-tech professional, author and attorney who specializes in business immigration law at the policy level. Bookstat's lightning-fast, responsive dashboard lets you search by publisher, genre, author, title, The best predictive analytic method does not rely on linear extrapolation. That always produces deficient results except on rare occasions when it’s right by chance. This does not mean the past has no lessons for the future. The history of inflation has valuable lessons for forecasting inflationary trends, yet they don’t derive from simple projections of trends. They derive from the ability to identify causal factors, mapping those factors into a network of nodes, populating each node with data and natural language inputs, estimating the direction and strength of nodal outputs, and aggregating those outputs into a single inflation forecast. In plain English, history matters because you can derive causes, not because it’s ever the same twice. People, even policymakers, learn. Behavior is adaptive. When society passes through an adverse phase such as the late 1970s inflation, officials resolve not to let it happen again. That doesn’t mean inflation won’t happen again. It doesn’t mean officials won’t make new mistakes; they usually do. It does mean that certain response functions are highly predictable both as to policy and timing. It’s the Ph.D. equivalent of closing the barn door. This makes it easy to predict that the barn door will be closed. That gives you a head start on what comes next."
