They just had the same argument and internal battle every other chapter until the end of the book. When her sister doesn’t show up on her wedding day, Raven has no choice but to take her place, but marrying Ares Windsor is torture. Repetitive. There was no much repetitiveness in this book. It was the FMC, Raven, saying she loved him and he’d never love her. And the MMC, Ares, saying he still had feelings for the sister, but was committed to his wife. And then they sleep together. and the whole thing would start again. It was frustrating and annoying, to say the least.
