Lovely soft red wine. Pillastro has been my favourite for many years but I think Cabalie is a strong contender. It’s hard to choose between them. Excellent wine, smooth , depth, perhaps a touch sweeter than one would expect. Great with bread n’cheese or drinks very well alone - meaning sans food - that is with good company! I mainly drink white wine, at the first sip of Cabalie I was hooked. The rich, vibrant, full bodied taste captured me. I now have a whole case full to enjoy. Bought this after a friend age. Me a bottle as a gift. It is wonderful. So smooth but with substance. Fruity flavour with depth. Pity it only seems to be available form one supplier.

I’m in love with Cabalie. Perfect wine, we absolutely feel like millionaires when we are drinking this wine as it's smooth, silky and utterly delicious Absolutely love this wine. I have found a red wine at last after years of trying and gave up. Then my friend gave me a bottle of Cablie and love it. Found this review and have to say that totally disagree. It's obviously a personal choice but so far to say that we now drink this pretty much exclusively and prefer it to our previous Italian Amarone.. and it's half the price.

I did a favour for a neighbour ,and they repaid me by giving me a bottle of cabalie,and from the very first sip I immediately fell in love with with the beautiful taste and smell.HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Tried Cabalie for the first time and I'm blown away by the taste, this is one wine I could happily drink on it's own but perfect with roast.Lovely wine. Great taste rich but not overwhelming. One of the best wines I’ve had in a long time. Also great value The Cabalie red wine has become my favourite wine. I serve it at supper/ dinner events at home and it is always popular Several of my friends now buy it by the case. I thoroughly recommend it.
