I’ve tried this in two locations: inside my house in a bedroom and in an outside cabin and the results were impressive in both locations. Location It should simply search for the mesh master and auto connect. Mine takes about a minute from power-up. That is odd as the other F!B devices has the option to auto or manually set the time zone. I suppose you could play (if you're keen) with the master time settings – go to manual setting time zone or change the NTP sever?
