After the first player has played the beginning tile, the player to the left attempts to play a tile that matches a side of the piece in play. For example, if the first tile played has 5,5,5 on the sides then the next player must play a tile which has at least 5,5 on one side of the Tri-Omino. The player who has a triple Tri-Omino piece starts the game. A triple Tri-Omino is a tile that has the same number on it on each corner.

Determine the value of each tile by calculating the combined total of each number that is on the corner of the piece. The player that has the Tri-Omino with the highest valued three of the same number starts the game. Three 5's would be the highest followed by three 4's and so on. The player that starts the game is awarded the total of the three numbers plus a 10 point bonus for starting. The first player to play all of his Tri-Ominos wins the round and receives a 25 point bonus plus the total points of all Tri-Ominos left in the other players' hands. The other players do not deduct these points from their score.If you want to play on your own or practice in between games with friends, try the single player mode—you can test your skills and strategy by playing against the computer. The first player to reach 400 points wins the game. If a player reaches 400 points in the middle of a round, continue playing until the round is over.
