Magical Herbalism - This is a full on day of learning. Looking at herbs - how and when to grow, harvest and store your plants. What each plant does and any associations to gods & goddesses. Different ways to use the herbs including remedies and ancient ways of working. This course has a practical session in the afternoon. Working with a cupboard of over 165 jars of herbs. Upon completion of your course assessments, you receive 2 certificates. A certificate from the Centre of Excellence and a CPD certificate displaying the number of CPD points earned from the course. The Turning of the Wheel” is a term used by practitioners of the Craft to describe the seasons and passing changes of Earth. The Hedgewitchery Diploma Course discusses how central the Earth, stars and nature are in determining the path of a hedgewitch and how they honour the full moon and celebrate the Equinoxes. This year I decided to cover hedge riding in an eleven part series in an attempt to clear up some misconceptions about hedgewitches while providing practical advice for novice witches or those seeking a new path. As a hedgewitch, hedge riding is a large part of my practice, as is working with my animal and spiritual guides. Not only does each ride give me valuable insight, but I often finish feeling invigorated and relaxed. Nothing quiet soothes my depression and anxiety like visiting my animal guides, Meka and Rocar. Because I have found these experiences so valuable to my practice, I felt compelled to tell my story in hopes of helping witches around the world. While many people will call themselves a hedgewitch, not all of them are 'true' hedgewitches in that they practice the main feature of hedge witchcraft, hedge riding. Most people are unfamiliar with the terminology hedge riding, but not the concept of traveling to other realms. Wicca - What’s it all about - Level 1, 2 & 3. Level 1 covers all the aspects of Wicca a beginner needs to know, including Sabbats, Esbats, spell work, herbs, altar tools, Karma, tools of the trade, Book of Shadows & Grimoire and lots more. This is a fun and informative course and students can decide whether to progress onto the other levels or not. There is a practical session on this course.
Hedgewitch 101 - Hedgewitchery to all intents and purposes is like no other form of witchcraft. We look at what being a Hedgewitch entails, what Elementals are, how to meditate better, what trance work is and what and when are the Esbats and Sabbats. Including the natural world, herbs and how to “Ride the Hedge”, this course also has practical sessions during the day. Psychic & Spiritual Development - Level 1, 2 & 3. Join other like minded people and find out how to work respectfully and safely with spirit. Look at tarot, psychometry, scrying, pendulum work and spiritual writing in depth, the rules and guidelines around giving psychic information and what type of psychic you are. We do 6th sense work to help build your ability, meditation and energy exercises. The afternoon of this course is practical work and all items are provided as part of the session. Students are able to progress onto the other levels if they wish too. The Hedgewitchery Diploma Course begins by providing a gentle introduction to the subject. This includes an exploration of the primary components of hedgewitchery and its practices, who hedgewitches were, where the term came from, and how the practice can be applied today. Alongside this, you will gain insight into the various branches of witchcraft and how hedgewitchery differs to these other forms.I would be grateful if you could tell me what kind of experience you think this was. One of the most common questions I am asked is " What is a Hedgewitch?" Well, it's a solitary witch who practices hedgewitchery or hedgecraft. But what is hedgecraft, you ask? That is much more complicated and depends on who you are talking to. The 'hedge' in 'hedgewitch' and 'hedge riding' has multiple meanings, the most prominent being the boundary separating the our world from the 'Otherworld.' The hedge also represents a physical and psychic protective boundary, thus separating spirit from human. Hedgewitches are said to hedge ride or 'ride the hedge (fly the hedge in my case),' meaning hedgewitches routinely cross the veil into the spirit otherworld. But what exactly is hedge riding? Spiritually, hedgewitches vary greatly and it largely depends on the individual. Many use their heritage or pull from more formal practices. However, many hedgewitches, like myself, have little interest in the religious and ceremonial aspects commonly found in covens and traditional witchcraft. They are less likely to perform scripted magical workings, preferring to follow their instincts. For the Hedgewitch, their normal life is also their magical one. Both orange oil and peppermint help relieve itching and contribute to the deterrent effect on insects.

People often mistake hedge witches for green witches or kitchen witches. A green or kitchen witch is often known for working with nature, their home, and their surroundings. However, an important distinction is that for a hedge witch, spirit work and work done across the hedge is the main focus of their practice.
