The Launchpad Mini and Launchpad MK2 are all USB bus-powered units, which means they can be powered just from the USB connection. Note for iOS connectivity, the Launchpad MkII requires a powered USB hub. The Launchpad is compatible with all versions of Live (Intro/Standard/Suite) and comes bundled with a free license for Ableton Live Lite.

This grid is built for performing. It's compact and light enough to throw in your bag, yet tough enough to survive the roughest gigs. You can bus-power it via USB, or use the included power supply to take full advantage of the super bright RGB LEDs during dusk performances. Like all Launch products, you can chain it to multiple Launchpads and connect it to the rest of your studio or live setup. The Launchpad Pro also has a DC power connection and MIDI I/O to be used as a standalone device with other hardware. For the connection, the Launchpad Mini uses the micro USB connector and the Launchpad MK2 uses a type B port. Both devices include a cable to connect to USB Type-A ports.
