This is a book that really needs to be read in tandem with the 6 books since many references (especially to certain people) do not really achieve their true impact otherwise. However, the add-on books (peculiar Tales and this book) that have come out in recent years have been pretty fun.

I’d only recommend for diehard fans of the Peculiar Children series, and probably wouldn’t have gone out of my way to read it myself if I hadn’t happened upon it at the library while grabbing the other books. This was not made like other book guides, its written out of miss p's point if view and for godsaken fucks there was so much not mentioned in the books and even more left to imagination. This book doesn’t provide too much new information and it doesn’t add on to the plot of the main series.It is perfect for people who are very familiar with the series and want to check back in with the world.
